Our story
For over two decades, Nepal Translations has been a bridge between cultures, languages, and ideas. Founded in 2004 by Muku, a native Nepali linguist with a passion for linguistic precision, in Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal, our journey began with a simple mission: to empower global communication by breaking language barriers with authenticity, cultural insight, and a deep understanding of Nepal’s heritage.
From humble beginnings as a solo freelance venture, we’ve grown into a trusted partner for global clients—including tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Samsung—thanks to our unwavering commitment to accuracy and cultural nuance. Over the years, we’ve translated over 3 million words, localized software for international markets, and lent our voice to documentaries, IVR systems, and educational materials.
What sets us apart is our deep-rooted understanding of Nepal’s dialects, traditions, and socio-cultural context. Whether translating legal contracts for EU firms, subtitling documentaries for global audiences, or crafting HR policies for Middle Eastern corporations, we ensure every word aligns with your audience’s heartbeat.
But beyond words, we believe in building trust. Every project—big or small—is handled with GDPR-compliant security, cutting-edge tools, and the expertise of a linguist who’s dedicated two decades to mastering this craft. Depending upon the requirement, we seek help from veteran linguists from our pool who provide top-notch editing and copywriting expertise.
Today, as we serve clients across 20+ countries, our mission remains unchanged: to empower global communication by breaking language barriers with authenticity, speed, and cultural insight. We are passionate about making your message accessible to everyone, regardless of language.
